St. John’s 150th Anniversary
Worship celebration was Sunday, Nov. 16, 2008
which marked the actual 150th anniversary of our
congregation’s incorporation and the beginning of
a year long celebration of God’s blessings. more info...
THIS WEEKS HISTORICAL NOTE:
"In 1864, when St. John’s was just 6 years old and
built its first church building at the corner of Sixth
and Walnut, the congregation already had 262 members". |
