ELEMENTARY AND MIDDLE SCHOOL

For 150 years our school has combined academic excellence and a faith-filled community to partner with the home in raising responsible Christian youth. Today our school remains a family where Christian values and Biblical truth are foundational; honesty and integrity matter; joy and hard work are equally important values; and character is as important as one’s grade point average. To this end, St. John’s is a participant in the Christian Character Formation Project, equipping Households of Faith for discipleship in as many places as possible. 

Central to our efforts to maintain an excellent discipleship focused school is our dedicated faculty. Devoted and committed to the success of their students, the faculty takes the lead in our partnership between school and home. They serve as teacher, coach, and Christian mentor. In every area of school life, the faculty seeks to challenge and inspire students to reach new levels of inquiry and understanding. Our K-8 setting creates a family atmosphere where middle school students interact and develop relationships with younger students providing a safe and nurturing atmosphere for all. 

We meet and exceed State of Wisconsin educational guidelines and are accredited by National Lutheran Schools Accreditation. Our academic test scores surpass national averages. We entered into the Wisconsin Parental Choice Program in 2018 in order to share the love of Jesus with those desiring a Christ Centered education for their children. Most importantly, our students hear daily that they are unique children of God, created, redeemed and strengthened daily by Him.
