LIFE GROUPS

The Life Group Ministry at St. John’s West Bend helps Christians connect to others on a regular basis in a friendly, informal setting. Our Life Group Ministry is divided into three categories: Rooted, Bible study, and Fellowship.

ROOTED LIFE GROUP

Rooted is a small group experience of 6-12 Christians gathering together for 10 weeks, but it really takes a different approach to discipleship. Rooted focuses first on the "hands" and "heart" aspect of the faith first before that of the "head". Participants spend time praying, reading scripture together, wrestling with the big questions of life, and time in daily devotion and prayer in between meetings.

In a perfect world, Rooted would be the next step in discipleship for people after the come through Promises of Grace.

BIBLE STUDY LIFE GROUPS

Bible study gatherings meet regularly, once or twice a month, for Bible study, support, and prayer within the context of small groups and under the leadership of a specifically trained lay teacher.

FELLOWSHIP LIFE GROUPS

Our fellowship gatherings meet regularly for the purpose of providing Christian care and support. These groups generally meet in the homes of their leaders.
